New Area Sales Engineer appointment in the Midlands increases The Vigilance Group’s presence and profile in the region, helping it to meet the growing demand from customers for its products and services.
The Vigilance Group, comprising MACH Machine Tools and Machine Tool Sales Online (MTSO), has strengthened its sales operations in the Midlands with the appointment of Stuart Woolridge as its new Midlands Area Sales Engineer.
The appointment of Mr. Woolridge, following hard on the heels of the appointment of Jack Varley as the Group’s Northern Areas Sales Engineer in July, provides further evidence that both MACH Machine Tools and MTSO, with their commitment to continuous improvement and unrivalled customer service, have their focus firmly on the future.
Says Matt Andrew, Group Sales Director:
“We are on a charge.
“In recent months we have significantly strengthened our UK service, applications and sales operations. The appointment of Stuart is part of this planned expansion process, designed to increase sales and market share in strategically important areas.”
Mr. Woolridge is a seasoned and successful engineer with a solid background in machine tools and manufacturing.
Having completed his apprenticeship at Triumph Motorcycles in Hinckley, where he qualified as a machine setter, he then joined DMG Mori where he was first employed as an Applications Engineer before being promoted to Assistant Engineering Manager, in double-quick time.
With significant experience in pre-sales and customer service, he put these ‘much-sought-after’ skills and expertise to good use, and re-joined Triumph as Engineering Manager in 2021, where he was responsible for the smooth-running operation of the Hinckley-based manufacturing facility.
Continues Matt Andrew:
“We’re delighted to welcome Stuart to the team and are confident that he will make a telling and positive contribution to our performance and growth.”
Attracting such high calibre talent into its ranks is testament to the Vigilance Group’s ‘pulling power’ and status as a new and used machine tool supplier of some repute and is something recognised by Mr. Woolridge himself.
“The Vigilance Group is a tight ship. It is a successful and ambitious organisation, and its innovative and diverse product range is second to none.
“I am particularly excited at the prospect of presenting and showcasing MACH Machine Tools’ DynaPath-controlled machines to customers and prospects in the Midlands.
“The advanced, feature-packed control system is powerful, quick and easy to use for programmers and operators alike.
“The control provides fast and secure Wi-Fi enabled, remote 24/7 diagnostic, applications and monitoring support that will, I’m sure, impress customers, and was a major contributing factor to me wanting to join the Group.”
